This Is What Personal Impact Coaching Feels Like
Hey, Bold Soul!
There's a moment that happens in almost every Personal Impact Coaching session I facilitate.
It's quiet. Sometimes there's a pause. Occasionally there are tears.
It's the moment someone realizes they've been carrying a heaviness in their heart that doesn't quite fit. A heaviness shaped by expectations, environments, and experiences that told them who they should be - not who they actually are.
One of my recent clients described the experience as "therapy for life and work." Another said she finally felt free to be completely honest and vulnerable. Another said he felt truly seen and heard in a way that unlocked something in him.
These aren't people who are struggling. These are high-performing leaders who are very good at what they do. And still, they needed a mirror.
That's what I do. I hold the mirror.
The Mirror: Personal Impact Coaching
My Personal Impact Coaching experience combines two powerful assessments - your Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and your TKI Conflict Style - with a 90-minute 1:1 coaching session and a 60-minute follow-up session designed to go wherever you need it to go.
No script. No generic debrief. Just you, your results, and a conversation that gets honest fast.
Here's what my clients walked away with:
- Clarity on how they're wired and why they show up the way they do
- A deeper understanding of their conflict patterns and how to work with them instead of around them
- Tools for approaching the people in their orbit with more intention
- And for several of them - a desire to bring this kind of clarity to their entire team
That last one is important. Personal clarity doesn't stay personal. It ripples out.
The Room: Team Effectiveness Workshops
When one leader gets clear, it's powerful. When an entire team gets clear together, it's transformational.
That's the premise behind my Human-Centered Team Effectiveness workshops. We take the same foundation - understanding how people are wired, how conflict shows up, and where energy is being lost - and we work through it as a team.
The result isn't just better communication. It's a team that actually trusts each other enough to do the hard work together.
Several of my Personal Impact Coaching clients have asked what it would look like to bring this experience to their teams. If you're asking yourself the same question, that's worth paying attention to.
The common theme in all of this?
The most effective leaders and teams aren't the ones who have it all figured out. They're the ones willing to look honestly at how they're showing up - and do something about it.
The mirror is available and the room is ready.
